Terms of Service
Effective date: October 28, 2026
VibeShield is operated by Badar Afzal, an individual (sole proprietor) doing business as VibeShield ("we", "us"). By using VibeShield — the website, the free check or the founding plan — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
2. What the service does
VibeShield runs a passive, owner-authorized check of a web app: it fetches the page HTML and same-origin JavaScript files only. It does not log in, probe databases, write data or crawl. Results are informational and may be incomplete. We do not guarantee that we will find every issue, and a clean result does not mean your app is secure.
3. Only check apps you own
You may only submit apps you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You confirm this with the ownership checkbox when you enter or change an app URL, and we record when you did. You are responsible for that confirmation being true.
4. Acceptable use
No checking third-party apps without permission, no automated mass submission, no attempts to bypass rate limits, and no other abuse of the service. We may suspend or end access for misuse.
5. Founding plan (paid subscription)
- Price: $19 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes, billed in advance through Stripe, starting the day you subscribe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Receipts and billing come from LeadSignal, our billing name. Your card statement shows LEADSIGNAL VIBESHIELD.
- What you get: a first report emailed within minutes, then a weekly re-check of your app URL with what's new, fixed and still open, and copy-paste fix prompts. You can change the app URL with the signed link in any report email.
- Price changes: the founding price stays the same while your subscription stays active. We'll email you at least 30 days before any change.
- Cancel anytime: use "Manage subscription" in the footer or the link in your welcome email. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. No cancellation fees.
- Refunds: email support@vibeshieldapp.com within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. Other payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
6. Waitlist
Joining the free waitlist creates no obligation and involves no payment.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero if you only used free features).
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll update the effective date and, for subscribers, email you before it applies. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
